What They Do
Carbon negative hydrogen. By turning waste biomass from forestry, orchards or other sources into gas and capturing the CO₂, Mote also creates a stream of carbon negative hydrogen that can be used in the decarbonized industrial economy - with no associated carbon emissions.
Why It Matters
Sometimes the best technologies may be the ones we already have - we just need to rethink how they are deployed. Mote is using proven components and optimised technology to reach scale incredibly quickly. And, because of its dual products - H₂ and CO₂ - they also have dual revenue streams to help smooth their journey and reach profitability fast.
